Our commitment to you
4titude is committed to the safety, rights, dignity, and inclusion of every person we support. This statement sets out what that means in practice.
Inclusion is not optional
4titude is a registered NDIS provider and not-for-profit charity. We believe every person with disability has the right to live a life of dignity, choice, and genuine participation in their community.
We are committed to providing services free from discrimination, abuse, neglect, and exploitation. We support the rights of people with disability under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992, the NDIS Act 2013, and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
We recognise that people with disability are experts in their own lives. Our role is to provide quality support that enables, not directs. We listen, we adapt, and we continually improve.
We welcome feedback from participants, families, carers, and support coordinators. Feedback, including complaints, makes us better.
NDIS Code of Conduct
As a registered NDIS provider, all 4titude staff and contractors are bound by the NDIS Code of Conduct. Here's what each principle means in plain language.
Act with respect and dignity
We treat every person as an individual, with courtesy, dignity, and respect for their identity, culture, and choices.
Respect privacy and confidentiality
Personal information is handled with care. We only share what is necessary and only with consent or when required by law.
Provide supports safely and competently
All support workers hold the qualifications, skills, and experience to deliver the services they provide, and we maintain those standards through ongoing training and supervision.
Act with integrity and transparency
We're honest about what we can and can't do. We disclose conflicts of interest and never take advantage of the trust participants place in us.
Promptly address concerns and complaints
We take feedback seriously. Complaints are welcomed as a way to improve, and every concern is handled promptly, fairly, and without retaliation.
Respect your right to make decisions
Participants direct their own lives. We provide information, guidance, and support, but the decisions belong to you.
Report concerns about safety
We have a duty to act when we believe someone may be at risk. Concerns are reported appropriately, and we take protective action without delay.
Never engage in violence, abuse or exploitation
Zero tolerance. Any form of violence, abuse, neglect, exploitation, or discrimination has no place in our organisation, and we act immediately when standards are not met.
Accessibility commitments
We are committed to making our services, facilities, and digital presence accessible to everyone.
- Our services and facilities meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards digitally and physical access standards at our hubs.

Statement of Commitment to the Safety of Children & Young People
At 4titude, our main goal is to make sure that the children and young people we support feel safe, happy, and empowered whenever they're with us. We are registered with the NDIS and adhere to both the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and the NSW Child Safe Standards. We are zero-tolerance when it comes to any abuse or violence towards children and young people.
Leadership priority
We make sure that everyone in charge always prioritises the safety of children and young people in everything we do.
Code of Conduct
We've got a strict Code of Conduct for everyone who works with children and young people, built around professionalism, respect, and honesty.
Safe environments
We make sure our spaces, both online and in person, are safe, friendly, and welcoming for children with disability, and take every possible measure to keep them safe.
Respecting individual needs
We honour different cultures and acknowledge each person's unique experiences, including cultural traditions, significant life events, and past traumas, so every child feels comfortable and understood.
Raising awareness
We make sure everyone, staff, volunteers, families, and children, knows how to stay safe. We talk about it regularly and keep everyone informed about what's important.
Child-appropriate communication
We communicate with children about staying safe in ways that make sense to them, so they know what to do if something doesn't feel right.
Encouraging children to speak up
We want children to feel comfortable speaking up if something's wrong. We've got easy ways for them to tell us what's happening, and we promise to listen and take action.
Supporting families
We share information with families about keeping children safe and help them feel confident about caring for their children.
Training our team
Everyone who works here gets regular training on how to keep children safe, so the whole team is well-equipped to handle any situation and knows exactly what to do.
Clear policies and procedures
We have clear rules and procedures in place covering everything from hiring new staff to reporting concerns, so everyone knows how to keep children safe.
Continuous improvement
We constantly evaluate our practices and seek ways to improve. We ask for feedback from everyone involved, whether it's how we talk to children and families about safety or how we handle reports.
Participant and family input
We actively seek the input, feedback, and participation of children and families in shaping their supports, and make adjustments so we can better meet their needs.
We understand that children with disability have their own unique experiences and needs. That's why we do things in a way that makes each child feel valued, heard, and protected. Keeping them safe is our top priority, and we are here to create an environment where every individual can feel secure, respected, and empowered to be themselves.
This is our promise to always prioritise children's safety and ensure they have everything they need to flourish.
