About the role
4titude's Batemans Bay hub is our coastal community, nestled near the beautiful South Coast of NSW. We're looking for a casual Support Worker to join our small, close-knit team supporting participants with day programs, outdoor activities, school holiday programs, and 1-to-1 support.
This role suits someone who loves the outdoors, the coast, and genuinely enjoys supporting people with disability to live great lives. No two shifts are the same, you might spend a morning at the beach and an afternoon cooking with participants in the hub.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting participants in day programs (cooking, art, community outings)
- Beach walks, fishing trips, and outdoor adventure activities
- Before and after school care support
- 1-to-1 community access support
- School holiday program assistance
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with participants and families
- Documenting support delivery per NDIS requirements
About you
Essential
- Genuine passion for disability inclusion and person-centred support
- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- Current driver's licence
- Flexibility to work varied casual shifts including some weekends
Desirable
- Prior experience supporting people with disability
- Experience in outdoor activities or recreation programs
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or related field
