November 2026 is one of the most varied months on the 4titude social calendar. We have over 60 supported outings across Sydney, running from Sculpture by the Sea on Sunday 1 November all the way through to the Tenpin Bowling League on Monday 30 November. The calendar spans disability sport world cups, headline theatre, live music, museums, wildlife parks, racing, cricket, A-League and more, with something across almost every day of the month.

If you have Community Participation, Social and Community Participation, or Assistance with Social and Community Participation funding in your NDIS plan, most of our monthly social program is eligible. New participants are welcome to come along for a free first session to see how it works before committing.

The full calendar with dates, times, meeting points and pricing is available as a one-page PDF at the monthly social program page. This article walks through the highlights so you can see what's on offer.

Weekly programs: the routine builders

Every week in November, three recurring sessions give participants a predictable structure they can build the month around.

  • Tenpin Bowling League at Tenpin City Lidcombe, every Monday afternoon (2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 November)
  • Movie Club at Reading Cinemas, every Tuesday afternoon (3, 10, 17 and 24 November)
  • Softball Competition at Peace Park Seven Hills, most Saturdays (7, 14, 21 and 28 November)

These regulars are the backbone of the program. Participants who come consistently each week build genuine peer friendships, learn to navigate public venues with confidence, and develop the communication and social skills that carry into the rest of daily life. New members are welcome any week, no need to start from the beginning of the month.

Rugby League World Cup: disability sport in the spotlight

November is the home stretch of the Rugby League World Cup, and the 4titude calendar includes multiple sessions across the wheelchair and physical disability competitions, including semi-finals and the final.

  • Rugby League World Cup (Women): Jillaroos v Wales — Sunday 1 November, CommBank Stadium
  • Rugby League World Cup: Tonga v Samoa — Sunday 1 November, CommBank Stadium
  • Physical Disability RL World Cup: England v NZ — Monday 2 November, AIIMS Stadium Cabramatta
  • Wheelchair RL World Cup: Australia v Scotland — Thursday 5 November, WIN Entertainment Centre Wollongong
  • Physical Disability RL World Cup: Australia v NZ — Thursday 5 November, AIIMS Stadium Cabramatta
  • Wheelchair RL World Cup: Australia v France — Friday 6 November, WIN Entertainment Centre Wollongong
  • Rugby League World Cup Semi-Finals (Women and Men) — Sunday 8 November, Allianz Stadium
  • Wheelchair RL World Cup: Semi-Finals — Tuesday 10 November, WIN Entertainment Centre Wollongong
  • Wheelchair RL World Cup: FINAL — Friday 13 November, WIN Entertainment Centre Wollongong

The wheelchair and physical disability competitions are particularly meaningful outings for the people we support. Watching elite athletes with disability compete at the highest level on the world stage is a powerful experience, and one that connects directly to broader themes of inclusion, identity and what is possible. Several participants who have attended disability sport events in past months have spoken about how much it meant to them. These sessions are among the most genuinely impactful things on the November calendar.

Live sport: cricket, football, basketball and more

Beyond the World Cup, November has a dense live sport lineup across cricket, A-League, WBBL, WNBL, NBL, hockey, golf and racing. Highlights include:

  • AFLW: GWS Giants v Gold Coast Suns — Sunday 1 November, Henson Park Marrickville
  • WBBL: Thunder v Heat — Sunday 1 November, Drummoyne Oval
  • A-League: Sydney FC v Mariners — Friday 6 November, Allianz Stadium
  • Hockey One: NSW Pride v Canberra Chill — Saturday 7 November, Olympic Park Hockey Centre
  • WNBL and NBL Double: Flames v Flyers, Kings v Phoenix — Sunday 8 November, Afterpay Arena
  • A-League: Macarthur v Brisbane Roar — Sunday 8 November, Campbelltown Stadium
  • Cricket: NSW v South Australia (Shield) — Wednesday 11 November, Cricket Central Olympic Park
  • Friday Night Racing (opening night) — Friday 13 November, Canterbury Park Racecourse
  • NBL: Kings v NZ Breakers — Sunday 15 November, Afterpay Arena Olympic Park
  • A-League: Wanderers v Adelaide — Friday 20 November, CommBank Stadium
  • WNBL: Sydney Flames v Townsville Fire — Saturday 28 November, Quaycentre Olympic Park

  • Australian PGA Golf: Final Round — Sunday 29 November, The Lakes Golf Club Eastlakes
  • Cricket T20: Australia v England — Sunday 29 November, SCG

The Australia v England T20 at the SCG on 29 November is likely to be one of the most popular bookings of the month. Spots for high-demand events like that one and the WNBL/NBL double-header are worth registering for early.

Theatre, music and comedy

November has an unusually strong performing arts lineup, with headline shows at Sydney Opera House, Capitol Theatre, the State Theatre and venues across the city.

  • Suzi Quatro Live — Saturday 15 November, Coliseum Theatre Rooty Hill
  • Macbeth: Bell Shakespeare (matinee) — Saturday 21 November, Playhouse, Sydney Opera House
  • Saturday Sounds: Live Music and Dinner — Saturday 21 November, Revesby Workers Club
  • Dracula: Ballet at its Darkest (matinee) — Sunday 22 November, Capitol Theatre
  • Candlelight Concert: Tribute to Elton John — Friday 27 November, St Stephen's Church Macquarie St
  • Carl Barron: Just Wondering Why (comedy) — Sunday 29 November, State Theatre

Bell Shakespeare's Macbeth at the Sydney Opera House Playhouse and the Dracula ballet at Capitol Theatre are among the more premium experiences on the November calendar. Both are matinees, which means a daytime outing with a full evening free. The Candlelight Elton John tribute at St Stephen's Church is an intimate acoustic concert format in a beautiful heritage venue and has historically been very popular with participants. Carl Barron at the State Theatre is the month's comedy pick.

Museums, festivals and markets

November has several significant cultural openings and one-off events worth highlighting.

  • Sculpture by the Sea (final day) — Sunday 1 November, Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk
  • Powerhouse Parramatta Opening Day — Saturday 7 November, Powerhouse Parramatta
  • Nepal Festival — Saturday 7 November, Tumbalong Park Darling Harbour
  • Titanic: Immersive Exhibition — Sunday 8 November, Showground Olympic Park
  • Remembrance Day Service — Wednesday 11 November, The Cenotaph Martin Place
  • Finders Keepers Design Market — Saturday 14 November, Carriageworks Eveleigh
  • Powerhouse Opening Festival — Sunday 22 November, Powerhouse Parramatta
  • Festival Stakes Race Day — Saturday 28 November, Rosehill Gardens

The Powerhouse Parramatta opening is a genuinely significant moment for Western Sydney, and 4titude has two sessions on the calendar to mark it: the opening day on 7 November and an opening festival session on 22 November. The Finders Keepers Design Market at Carriageworks is a beautiful daytime outing for participants who enjoy creative and handmade goods. Titanic: The Immersive Exhibition at Olympic Park is an excellent choice for anyone who prefers a more structured, indoor museum experience.

Accessible and sensory-friendly options

For participants who find busy venues or loud environments challenging, November has a dedicated sensory-friendly session worth knowing about.

  • SEA LIFE Quiet Morning (sensory-friendly) — Sunday 15 November, SEA LIFE Darling Harbour, 7am to noon

SEA LIFE's sensory-friendly Quiet Morning sessions run at reduced capacity with lowered sound levels before the general public enters. They are specifically designed for people with sensory sensitivities, autism, or anxiety around crowds and noise. For participants who find typical public venue visits difficult, this is a good way to access a genuinely enjoyable experience in a supported, low-stimulation environment. Spots fill early, so register as soon as possible if this is of interest.

Outdoors and active outings

For participants who prefer movement and fresh air, November has a strong outdoors lineup alongside the indoor events.

  • Sculpture by the Sea coastal walk — Sunday 1 November, Bondi to Tamarama
  • Sydney Harbour Lunch Cruise — Friday 13 November, King St Wharf Darling Harbour
  • Trampoline Super Session — Friday 20 November, Bounce Homebush
  • Fun Run or Walk: SMC Road Race — Sunday 22 November, Long Street Park Smithfield
  • Featherdale Wildlife Park — Tuesday 24 November, Doonside

The Sydney Harbour Lunch Cruise on 13 November is one of the more memorable outings of the month: a relaxed afternoon on the water with food included. Featherdale Wildlife Park is always popular, particularly for participants who engage well in natural, animal-centred environments. The Trampoline Super Session at Bounce in Homebush is a high-energy active outing for participants who like something physical.

How the monthly social program builds NDIS goals

Every outing on the November calendar targets one or more of the seven NDIS Functional Domains. Different sessions build different things.

  • Social interaction is developed through the group dynamic itself: sharing space, taking turns, reading tone in others, initiating and maintaining conversation.
  • Communication grows through ordering food, asking staff for information, negotiating group decisions, and expressing preferences in unfamiliar environments.
  • Community participation is the whole point: being present, visible and welcome in mainstream Sydney venues alongside everyone else.
  • Mobility is exercised through coastal walks, stairs, public transport and navigating unfamiliar buildings and outdoor venues.
  • Learning happens in cultural venues, exhibitions, markets and structured settings where new information is presented in an accessible way.

Coordinators writing plan reports can use the monthly social program as evidence of consistent, structured community participation. Progress notes are shared to the participant's Coordinator on request.
